Dallas Chop House reopens for dinner Monday but if you want to stop by for lunch you'll have to wait.
A 3-alarm fire gutted the restaurant's kitchen on the afternoon of Aug. 12. Smoke billowed from the first floor restaurant inside the 60-story Comerica Bank Tower at 1717 Main Street in downtown but no injuries were reported.
On Monday, the restaurant will reopen for happy hour and dinner only, lunch service will return in early 2015. A date will be announced later according to DRG Concepts, the restaurant's parent company.
In addition to repairs, Dallas Chop House has new lighting and new menu items along with bringing back some old favorites.
