Dallas Attractions Are Loved to Pieces, Leaving Much Wear and Tear

When Klyde Warren Park opened, its supporters hoped to attract visitors from all walks of life. It clearly has attracted the well-heeled.

"What we didn't expect was that so many mothers who brought their kids to the children's park would be wearing high heels. The heels punctured the soft surface so badly, we had to replace it after the first year," said Tara Green, the park’s president. "It's one of those only-in-Dallas things, I guess."
