Thousands Flock to Japanese Harvest Festival

Nearly 30,000 people have flocked to Japan's Niihama City for the annual Niihama Taiko Festival.

The tradition dates back nearly 800 years.

What once used to be a harvest celebration is now a major tourist destination that draws in tens of thousands of visitors every year.

The festival began Sunday and ends Tuesday with a procession of huge floats.
