13th Annual Life Lessons Luncheon for The Elisa Project

Wednesday, February 28

More than 30 million people in the United States are affected by eating disorders and one person dies every 62 minutes from the disease.

NBC 5 invites you to join The Elisa Project at its 13th Annual Life Lessons Luncheon on Wednesday, February 28, at 11:30 a.m. at the Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas.  The luncheon will feature Chrissy Metz from the NBC hit series, “This Is Us,” as the keynote speaker.  Ms. Metz will discuss her inspirational story of triumph over adversity, and the importance of positive body acceptance.

The Elisa Project was created in memory of Elisa McCall, who lost her life to an eating disorder.  The foundation’s main goal is to fight against life-threatening eating disorders through awareness education, support and advocacy, so that our community is healthier and more productive.
