"Hammer time" now has a whole new meaning.
Ex-GOP Majority Leader Tom "The Hammer" Delay will joining the cast on the new season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
The 62-year-old former congressman from Texas will join a star-studded cast -- inclduing Donny Osmond, Aaron Carter, Melissa Joan Hart and Kelly Osbourne, among others -- to compete in the new season of the reality TV dancing contest that premieres on Sept. 21.
The list of hopefuls was announced today along with a new twist: double eliminations mid-season.
