NBC's forthcoming reality talent competition has selected it's final judge and he's got a little bit of country to go along with the rest of his fellow panelists pop, rap and rock and roll cred.

Award-winning country crooner Blake Shelton has signed on to join "The Voice," reports New York.

The 34-year-old Shelton, who is engaged to fellow Nashville superstar Miranda Lambert, will sit alongside pop queen Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, and rapper/singer Cee Lo Green to help find America's next great singing star.

"We couldn't have a panel that represented the hottest American music without a strong country presence, and Blake is at the top of his game right now," said Paul Telegdy, the executive vice president of alternative programming at NBC. "Not only is he incredibly charismatic, but his passion for collaborating with and bringing the best out of other talented artists makes him the perfect choice to round out this Dream Team of musician coaches."

Shelton brings some previous experience with talent show judging to the "American Idol" rival; he formerly judged on "Nashville Star" and was a guest judge on NBC's "Clash of the Choirs."

"The Voice" will debut on NBC April 26.
