Paul English, Willie Nelson's long time drummer and best friend, has died at age 87.
English died Wednesday after a recent battle with pneumonia.
English started playing with Nelson in Fort Worth, and the two played together for more than 50 years.
English is best known to fans as the subject of the song "Me and Paul."
