Marilyn Manson Joining “Sons of Anarchy” Cast

And...Boom. Just like that, "Sons of Anarchy" got even more interesting!

Marilyn Manson has been cast on the hit FX series, the network has confirmed. He'll play "Ron Tully," a white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base.

And in perhaps even cooler news: Manson actually asked to be a part of the show because he and, more importantly, his dad are big fans of the show.

"'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson explains of why he reached out to "SOA" boss Kurt Sutter. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'SOA' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

Manson, whose European tour kicks off in June, has made many cameos in films and TV including "Once Upon a Time" and Eastbound & Down."

As for what else fans can expect for Jax in season seven, Sutter has said the death of (Spoiler Alert!) his wife, Tara (Maggie Siff), in the season six finale will have a major impact.

"I wanted to remove [Jax's] 'True North,' because I feel like there needs to be this major psychic and emotional shift that has to happen. What direction it will push him in we will see next season," Sutter explained. "But what happens to a guy like that now that he's lost both of the people he loves the most, who were able to be his moral compass, with Opie and now Tara. It really is Jax completely untethered and on his own in the final season."

Drea de Matteo also has been upped to series regular for the final season.

The "Sons of Anarchy" final ride kicks off this fall on FX.
