One wouldn’t expect teen pop queen Miley Cyrus to be a heavy metal fan, but the star has been spotted out and about recently wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt – and she’s taken to YouTube to declare her love for the band.
“I’m sure you guys have seen me rocking an Iron Maiden shirt lately,” she said in a new MileyWorld video. “And I know there’s been some people saying, ‘Oh, she’s a poser … She wants to be like a rock star.’ You guys don’t know my life. You don’t know if I like Iron Maiden or not.”
And she does.
“I actually do like Iron Maiden,” she said. “‘Run to the Hills,’ good song, you guys should check it out.”
She listed “Fear of the Dark” and “Running Free” among her other favorites, although while she may be an Iron Maiden fan – she wasn’t the first in the Cyrus clan.
