Glam Slam: SAG Awards Style

“Yeah, now that’s something to talk about,” Brad Pitt said of his lovely lady Angelina Jolie.

We couldn’t agree more. Angelina dazzled in a cornflower blue satin Max Azria at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. The gown featured a low cut back, which showed off her tattoos. I love that Angelina knows what she likes and she sticks with her signature style… simple and elegant, not too much jewelry.

Also in blue?

Kate Winslet showed off her curves (and the girls!) in her form-fitting cobalt Narciso Rodriguez.

“The Wrestler’s“ Evan Rachel Wood wowed in her teal, one-shouldered Monique Lhuillier.

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Freida Pinto chose a floaty silk chiffon Marchesa in pewter.

Christina Applegate led the bold color brigade with her emerald green one-shouldered Emanuel Ungaro.

Amy Adams chose deep purple Giambattista Valli, Claire Danes rocked red Nina Ricci and “Doubt” star Viola Davis was a vision in yellow by David Meister.

The white gown trend, which was so big at the Golden Globes continued.

“I love my dress tonight. It’s Azzaro and I just I feel really nice in it,” Anne Hathaway said about her white gown. “I’m not really a girlie girl, but who doesn’t like to have their hair and makeup done and put on a fabulous frock?”

Anne accessorized her crystal embellished gown with a half a million dollars worth of Cartier jewels.
“Benjamin Button” star Taraji P. Henson worked a Marilyn-esque white Herve Leroux and Olivia Wilde chose a creamy satin Ralph Lauren gown. Teri Hatcher took a fashion risk with her white one-shouldered Monique Lhuillier, which paid off.

Her fellow “Desperate” divas didn’t fare so well… at least in my book.

HATED Eva Longoria Parker’s look. Her tangerine Jenny Packham should be burned. Didn’t love the color. Too much fabric going on and don’t get me started on the prom hair.

I wasn’t a fan of Marcia Cross’ black and navy Carolina Herrera strapless gown either. I thought it was over the top to the point of being fussy.
