Canadian actor Bronson Pelletier is joining the cast of "Twilight" sequel "New Moon," according to his management.
"Congratulations to Bronson who scores a lead role in the highly anticipated 'Twilight' feature film sequel 'New Moon,'" a note on the Web site for the actor's reps, Carrier Talent Management, read. "It's rumored he will be co-starring with Dakota Fanning."

Bronson's role has not yet been confirmed by Summit, which released the first vampire-film.
It is not yet known if Bronson will be a vampire, werewolf, or human in the upcoming sequel.

Bronson is best known for his work in the Canadian series Renagadepress, a show which followed group of teenagers as they put together an e-zine to expose what was really going on in their lives. He also appeared on Discovery Kids' "Dinosapien," in 2007.

The Vancouver Island native said in an interview on the DiscoverKids Web site that his favorite actor is Samuel Jackson. He is also a sports enthusiast.
