Every time Aaron Pass competes in a rodeo, he likes to hit the arena early, before anyone else is there. It helps him breath, clear his head and get his heart "to pump a little harder than normal." It's a ritual the Kaufman, Texas native started practicing not long after he picked up the sport of bull riding at the tender age of 12. Watch Pass in the short documentary above to learn what it takes to mount and ride an 1,800 pound animal for eight seconds while it does its darndest to buck you off.
These days, Pass is one of the top professional riders in the sport, and you can catch him at this year's Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Now in its 123rd season, the legendary event takes place from January 18 — February 9, 2019, and features edge of your seat PRCA rodeo action, world-class livestock shows, kid-friendly exhibits, live music, a fun-filled carnival midway, daily shopping and more.
