Join NBC 5 and the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center for their annual fundraiser event, Cocktails in the Canyon, on Thursday, November 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Over 750 people have been invited to the event to participate in the silent and live auctions. Live auction items include the naming rights to Dogwood Canyon’s bird of prey, the naming rights to Dogwood Canyon’s bird of prey enclosure and the naming rights to Dogwood Canyon’s Mexican Milk Snake. There will be live birds, music by Short Fuse and food provided by David’s Seafood.
This year’s Master of Ceremonies is NBC 5’s Chief Meteorologist and Dogwood Canyon board member, David Finfrock.
Cocktails in the Canyon benefits the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center at Cedar Hill, so it can provide affordable programs and events for families in North Texas. Tickets must be purchased in advance at http://dogwoodcanyon.audubon.org/cocktails-canyon.
