Local Gamers Play to Heal Kids on Extra Life Game Day, Nov. 4

NBC 5 and the Children’s Miracle Network invite you to support thousands of gamers as they raise money to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids during Extra Life Game Day this Saturday, November 4. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospital program helps participants use their love of gaming to impact patients in their local community. Thousands of gamers all over the world pledge to game for 24 hours.

A local Extra Life team, Heroic Inner Kids, is hosting their third Extra Life charity event. Participants from around the metroplex will join together for a 24-hour gaming marathon. Held at Invodo Studios Dallas, gamers invite friends, family, and fans to join the event and raise donations for a CMN Hospital.

Game Day is November 4, but participants may complete their 24 hours of play however they like — all in one day, one hour a day for 24 days, etc. While anyone can participate, many content creators live-stream their play and earn donations from followers. Participants can register and join the team at Extra-Life.org, select their local or preferred Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, set a fundraising goal and collect donations throughout the year for kids in need.
