NBC 5 and BAPS Charities Dallas invite you to the 16th annual BAPS Charities Health Fair on Saturday, November 4.
BAPS Charities is committed to improving the health and well-being of society, particularly individuals and communities in need, by providing healthcare and raising health and awareness through volunteer services.
BAPS Charities has sponsored over 51 health fairs serving over 10,000 individuals in cities across North America. These health fairs bring together community members and healthcare professionals in providing individualized care and prevention awareness.
The health fair will offer a range of services including health screenings to measure blood pressure, blood sugar levels, body mass index, eye and dental issues, anemia, skin problems, and osteoporosis. Also new to this year, there will be pharmacists available for one-on-one consultations as well as EKG's to check for signs of heart disease.
Please note it is necessary to fast 12 hours before blood work. Blood work results will be provided on Health Fair Day.
