This free, family friendly event will take place at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus Downtown. Fort Worth BookFest is a cross-cultural, community driven event, highlighting national and local authors of all cultural backgrounds.

BookFest will feature over 90 authors, artists, publishers and booksellers. Internationally renowned spoken word artist, author, actor and activist Michael Guinn, will facilitate the first “Differences & Diversity Spoken Word Competition.” The competition will begin with a Creative Writing Workshop, followed by an Open Mic session.
