Join NBC 5 and be a part of the Cattle Baron’s Ball, the American Cancer Society’s largest single night fundraiser. This exciting boot and jeans event takes place on Saturday, October 19, at Gilley’s Dallas. Headlining the celebration this year is country legend Keith Urban.
The legendary live auction and silent auction returns with over $2 million of items up for grabs. After Urban’s performance, the exciting evening will continue with an after-party that goes on until 2:00 a.m.
Since 1974, Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised more than $81 million for cancer research. Proceeds from the Cattle Baron’s Ball contribute to funding through the American Cancer Society, which provides services to cancer patients throughout North Texas. Proceeds from the event will go towards efforts which include:
- Providing free rides to patients to and from treatment
- Research grants that lead to multiple important discoveries
- Increased screenings in under-served communities
