NBC 5 and BAPS Charities invite you to the 17th Annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, October 13.
With a focus on preventative care, BAPS Charities organizes health fairs throughout North America at over 54 centers as part of its global health and wellness initiative. The health fair will offer education related to maintaining general health and well-being, in addition to on-site screenings and information about engaging in preventative care measures. More than 30 health care professionals from North Texas have registered to volunteer and serve the community.
Health screenings include diabetes, cholesterol, body fat, vision, dental, anemia, obesity, skin problems and osteoporosis. For a fee of $25, participants can get lab services, doctor and pharmacy consultations and EKG services. Participants who received blood work on September 30th will have the opportunity to get their results at the Health Fair.
