Join NBC 5 and Telemundo 39’s Reading With You/ Leyendo Contigo initiative to encourage reading literacy at the Fort Worth BookFest on Saturday, October 12, at the Maddox-Muse Center in Fort Worth.
Fort Worth BookFest is a cross-cultural, community driven event, highlighting national and local authors of all cultural backgrounds. This free family-friendly event will feature a multi-genre exhibition of books for all ages. Guest should expect to take part in educational activates, conversations with award-winning authors, who will be selling and signing their books and so much more.
With Halloween being around the corner, guests are encouraged to dress up in costumes and join in on the Parade of Characters and Superheroes. Nuestros Cuentos/Our Stories turns the spotlight on culturally contemporary award-winning Latinx authors and poets. They will present intriguing insights into the Latino world through their literary art.
