PantherFest to Celebrate Fort Worth's Birthday with Local Craft Beer, Music, Food and a 2,000 Foot Water Slide

Saturday, June 6

Come and enjoy yourself at Fort Worth’s birthday on June 6 with a festival that celebrates all things local! PantherFest featuring Slide the City will be an all day festival featuring Fort Worth craft beer, music, food and a 2,000 foot water slide down the North Main Street Bridge.

Admission into the festival will be FREE but to ride the Slide, you must purchase tickets from Slide the City, which is now sold out.

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price will be the first one on the slide at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The music lineup will showcase Fort Worth-based musicians and bands such as Chris Watson, Charla Corn, Shotgun Friday, Legacy 4, Chucho, Adrian Garza, Ryan Tharp, Two Ton Folk and DJ John Pollard. The schedule of music on both the Panther Island Brewing and Main Stages can be found at PantherFest.com.

The festival, produced by TRVA with support from Panther Island Brewing, Fort Worth Harley, the City of Fort Worth and the Tarrant Regional Water District, will honor some of our favorite things in Fort Worth by featuring craft beer from Martin House Brewing Company, Panther Island Brewing, Rahr & Sons Brewery and the Collective Brewing Project; live local music and delicious food from Fort Worth-based restaurants such as Reata, Fred’s Texas Café, Buttons, Mexican Inn, Salsa Limon, Chadra Mezza and more.
