Earth Day Texas 2016

Go green and save the planet this spring! Join NBC 5 in celebrating the 6th Annual Earth Day Texas, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 22-24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at Fair Park in Dallas.

Built on a reputation of excellence, Earth Day Texas is reported to be the world’s largest annual expo and forum for sharing the latest initiatives, discoveries, research, innovations, policies, products, and corporate practices reshaping the world. This environmental exhibition brings together environmental organizations, businesses, academic institutions, government agencies, speakers, interactive programming, and subject matter experts. The three-day festival is free and will provide attendees with stimulating intellectual conversations, interactive experiences, and fun activities appealing to a wide range of knowledge levels and interests.

Utilizing an estimated 750,000 square feet consisting of 1,600-plus indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces in Fair Park, Earth Day Texas is expected to break all previous attendance records this year with attendees coming together to enjoy a never-before-seen lineup of some of the world’s most inspiring and compelling exhibits, thinkers, speakers, activities, and entertainers.

Also, don’t miss out on the heart of Earth Day Texas: The Green Speaker Series. This notable speaker lineup consists of climate scientists, members of political dynasties, environmental activists, and inspiring entrepreneurs. The main goal is for attendees to learn how to take responsible environmental action by better utilizing available resources, switching to eco-friendly products, or by joining their organizations.
