NBC 5 would like to invite you to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association by sending a kid to camp. Now through March 31st, visit your local Albertsons or Tom Thumb and make a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Your charitable contribution will help send children living with neuromuscular diseases, that severely limit strength and mobility, to Camp John Marc where anything is possible – from swimming to zip-lining and horseback riding to dancing under a disco ball and gaining valuable life skills. All of this will be at no cost to their families thanks to your generosity.
By simply selecting a $1, $3 or $5 donation to support the MDA summer camp pin-pad campaign at the time of your in store purchase, you can help kids with neuromuscular disease in the Dallas-Fort Worth area live longer and grow stronger. All funds raised will help MDA provide its families with life-enhancing support services and programs this year, including a chance for kids to experience “the best week of the year” at MDA summer camp where barriers don’t exist.
