Don’t miss your chance to meet with representatives from Texas and national colleges and universities. One Community Church will host a free College Fair Expo on Saturday, March 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at One Community Church, located at 2400 Highway 121 in Plano.
Representatives from over 20 colleges, universities and organizations within the state and from across the country will be on hand to meet with local high school students and their parents to share information and resources about their respective organizations.
The event will include workshops for parents and students. There will be information on the application process, education tax breaks, college savings funds, and applying for scholarships. There will be a dedicated panel for students to discuss common questions and expectations as they navigate college life. All seniors will be entered into a drawing for a book scholarship paid directly to the school.
Also, students will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a variety of representatives from various professional organizations, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other exemplary institutions.
