Celebrating 100 Years of Black Aviation

February 21st at the C.R. Smith Museum

The C.R. Smith Museum along with the American Airlines African American Diversity Network presents the “5th Annual Celebrating 100 Years of Black Aviation - The Future is Now” on Saturday, February 21, at 2:00 pm in the C.R. Smith Museum Theater.

NBC 5 invites you celebrate Black History Month and join author and historian C.B. Rice and current commercial pilots for an engaging program that journeys through the historic past, the current state and what the future holds for African American aviators. The program will include presentations and door prizes.

All programs and exhibits are included with a C.R. Smith Museum admission ticket. The C.R. Smith Museum operating hours run from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Admission prices are $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 2-17, students (with ID), seniors +65, and active military. As always, admission is free for C.R. Smith Museum members. Program seating will be on a first come basis.
