Los Angeles police have arrested a woman who they say tried to attack Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend outside the "American Idol" venue.
Officer Norma Eisenman says officers arrested Janice Thibodeaux after they saw her try to choke Terri Seymour, who is a correspondent for "Extra."
Thibodeaux is being held on nearly $54,000 bail for suspicion of felony battery.
Eisenman says before trying to choke her, Thibodeaux asked Seymour if she was Cowell's ex. She ran from officers before being arrested.
