Jessica Simpson wore a tight short black skirt, a low cut top, a black leather jacket and high heels to perform on the "Early Show" on CBS for the first time she was ridiculed for gaining some weight.
She looked much thinner than the last time she performed when photos of her sparked debate on the Internet.
Simpson told CBS "everything's really great, it's all about keepin' the faith."
Simpson also helped announce the nominees for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Brad Paisley leads with six, including entertainer of the year.

Meanwhile, Simpson has designed a line of dresses for women of all shapes.
In the March issue of In Style Jess says: "I want to create clothes that flatter every figure. I know how a dress can make you feel so frumpy. I promise mine won't."
She went on to say: " I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I've been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you're curvy."
Gosh I want to believe her, but I can't understand why she went out on stage with those jeans. Now I will say she had a jacket on with those high-waisted jeans (I hate when people call them mom jeans, because they're not).
As an entertainer she has to know if an outfit is only good with the jacket you have to suffer with the jacket on or else change all your clothes.
It's just so unfortunate.
