Spieth Set to Throw Out First Pitch

Life is going pretty well for 22-year-old Dallas native Jordan Spieth.

The newly crowned No. 1 golfer in the world, who earned the top spot after his second-place finish over the weekend at the PGA Championship, won the first two majors of the year and then was right in the thick of the hunt at the British Open.

Now, he's throwing out the first pitch at the Rangers game against Seattle on Tuesday night.

It will mark his second time to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Rangers game, the team he grew up watching as a kid and Jesuit student in high school.

Spieth will also accept a donation to the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation from the Rangers. His foundation focuses on giving back to youth with special needs, as well as military families and junior golf.
