The Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals are set to do battle in this year's World Series. While this will be the Rangers second straight appearance, the Cardinals consider this old hat as they are making their 18th trip to the Fall Classic.
In celebration of this year's exciting baseball postseason, Heritage Auctions is having its own big fall event with its November Sports Signature Auction including an array of sports trading cards and memorabilia.
While there will be items from all of the major sports, there will also be a sampling of items from the World Series participants. Look for vintage items such as game-worn jerseys from Rangers Nolan Ryan and Ted Williams and Cardinals Steve Carlton and Curt Flood.
There is even a St. Louis Cardinals National League Championship ring from its 2004 run that has an estimated valued between $10K and $15K.
