A Texas Rangers fan homered to win free season tickets at the Texas Rangers Swing for Your Seats event Saturday.
Byron Anderson of Fort Worth smacked a ball out of the park and won four free season tickets for the 2016 Texas Rangers season.
"It went over the 354 sign and it may have hit the back of the fence. It went 355 feet and just crept over the fence," Anderson said. "When you hit it and catch it just right, it doesn't feel like you just hit. It feels like you just swung."
In Saturday’s Swing for your Seats event, fans who had purchased season tickets had the chance to try to hit a home run. If their ball went out of the park, their 2016 season tickets were free (up to $10,000).
Fans had to place a 25 percent deposit on a Rangers season ticket plan to participate.
Anderson, a teacher at Fossil Hill Middle School in Keller ISD, was the only fan to hit a home run out of the 20 individuals who participated in Saturday's event.

Anderson played college baseball at Tarleton State.
"That was my moment for sure (at Globel Life Park)," Anderson said. "I got to share it with my wife and my kids."
Texas Rangers upgraded his original half-season plan from two seats in the Lexus Club Terrace to four seats in the Lexus Club Box, giving him $8,500 in free season tickets.
The Rangers sold a total of 57 new 2016 season ticket packages during Saturday’s event.
