You Too Can Vote Yu to the All-Star Game

Arizona's Aaron Hill and Yu Darvish are each candidates for their respective league's final vote

The Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks have entered into a quid pro quo arrangement which, if it works, will send Rangers’ starter Yu Darvish and D-Backs’ second baseman Aaron Hill to the All-Star Game as the winners of the final vote for their respective leagues.

As reported in the Dallas Morning News today, using Twitter, each team is encouraging its own fans to vote for the other’s candidate. Arizona fans are being asked to use the hash-tag #VoteYu while Texas fans are encouraged to use #FinHillVote when on the popular social networking site, and vote accordingly. The final vote ends at 3 PM CT Thursday, and there is no limit to how many votes one can submit. (You can vote by following this link.)

Darvish is 10-5 with a 3.59 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP on the year. Hill is hitting .300 for the Diamondbacks with 11 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has also already hit for the cycle twice this season.
