Potential Target: Rajai Davis

In an ongoing series, we'll take a look at possible free-agent and trade targets for the Texas Rangers this winter.

2015 stats: .258 batting average, .306 on-base percentage, .746 OPS, 55 runs, 16 doubles, 11 triples, 8 home runs, 18 stolen bases

Davis is intriguing as a bench outfielder who could be had on a one-year deal for cheap. He's 35 now, so he's lost some of his threat on the basepaths, where he used to dominate with six straight years of at least 34 stolen bases, a streak that ended last season.

He can play all three outfield spots, including center field, which makes him appealing because as of now the Rangers only have one center fielder on their roster, and Delino DeShields is barely one, depending on who you ask.

There are several teams in on Davis, most notably Cleveland, according to several reports, but the Rangers have been reported as being an interested club.
