Odor Taking Ownership of Astros

Back on July 18 when the Texas Rangers' season seemingly turned around, Rougned Odor was right in the center of it.

His now famous shouting match with Astros catcher Hank Conger turned into a bench-clearer that led to the near-iconic photo of Jeff Banister and A.J. Hinch going at it in the middle of everything. Since that day, the Rangers began an epic climb that hit a head on Tuesday night when they claimed first place in the AL West with a second straight win over the Astros.

And once again, Odor was in the middle of it all. The 21-year-old second baseman went 2-for-4 with an RBI and continued his career trend of owning the Astros.

In fact, in his 27 career games against Houston, Odor has a .305 batting average and a whopping .923 OPS thanks to four doubles, four triples, four homers and 18 RBIs.

The day after that July game, the Rangers were shut down by AL Cy Young favorite Dallas Keuchel, who had some stares and words for Odor during that game. On Wednesday night, Keuchel will take the mound in Arlington, and Odor will be looking to put the Astros ace on his hit list.
