Nadel Named Finalist For Ford C. Frick Award

Eric Nadel just finished his 34th year of calling Rangers games

For the third straight year, the radio voice of the Texas Rangers, Eric Nadel, has been named a finalist for the Ford C. Frick Award for excellence in broadcasting, given out annually by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

Nadel was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame this past August, his 34th year with the team and his 18th as the team’s lead broadcaster.

Nadel is one of ten finalists up for the award, and, of the ten, one of five broadcasters who remain active. The winner will be announced at baseball’s winter meetings on December 4, and honored on Hall of Fame weekend next July.
