Moreland to Start at First for Game 4

The Texas Rangers have made a change at first base for Game 4 of the World Series.

Manager Ron Washington says Mitch Moreland getting the start at first Sunday has nothing to do with what happened in Game 3. Mike Napoli was back at catcher after playing first Saturday night, when he had a throwing error that allowed two St. Louis runs.

Moreland makes his first appearance in the World Series. Washington says Moreland was told a couple of days ago that he'd be playing Game 4.

Napoli has been primarily the catcher for the Rangers the second half of the regular season and the playoffs. After fielding a grounder with the bases loaded in the fourth inning Saturday night, Napoli threw wide of home plate in a 16-7 loss.
