You've got another couple of weeks to get to Las Vegas and place your prop bets for the upcoming MLB season, and Vegas book Bovada released several odds for postseason awards and league leaders with a few Texas Rangers playing in prominently.
Most notably, Rangers ace Yu Darvish is listed as the favorite to win the AL Cy Young award at 8-1 odds, following by David Price (9-1). And just for grins, Martin Perez is 33-1. For AL MVP honors, Mike Trout is the favorite at 5-1, while three Rangers have their place in the race, too, with Adrian Beltre (16-1), Shin-Soo Choo (20-1) and Prince Fielder (20-1) all playing in. Also, hint: Go ahead and lay some dough on Fielder, been proclaiming that one for a while now. It's going to happen.
Enough of the postseason awards, how about just who will lead the major leagues in home runs? Well, former Rangers first baseman Chris Davis is the leader there at 8-1. Fielder is listed at 20-1, while Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz are both 33-1.
