Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland, appearing for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic in 2013.

We all remember what happened almost a year ago now when Derek Holland tripped over his lovely dog, Wrigley, and fell down the stairs at his home.

That fateful misstep forced Holland to undergo microfracture surgery on his knee and miss the majority of the 2014 season before he returned to action in September and closed the season on a very high note.

Of course, Holland gave Rangers fans a lot to look forward to in 2015 when he made five starts, went 2-0 and put up a 1.46 ERA in September with 25 strikeouts and five walks.

On Monday, the Rangers released a virtual Christmas card to all of their fans starring Holland and, you guessed it, Wrigley.

Of course, Holland, who is known for his joking approach to just about everything, plays off that fateful night back in January in the little skit, and it's really pretty funny. You should check it out and cross your fingers it doesn't play out again this January.
