Fielder Wins Triple Crown of Comeback

In case you weren't sure, it's now abundantly clear that Texas Rangers DH Prince Fielder is the American League's Comeback Player of the Year for the 2015 season.

Fielder's main competition for the award was New York Yankees DH and baseball Public Enemy No. 1 Alex Rodriguez, and the league-wide hatred of A-Rod might've had something to do with Fielder sweeping the award.

The Rangers DH picked up his third — this one a players' choice award — on Monday, adding to his Sporting News and MLB.com awards, both voted on by members of the media.

Fielder played in just 42 games in 2014 before a cervical fusion surgery ended his season. In 2015, he led the Rangers in hitting (.305), RBIs (98) and tied for the lead with 23 home runs, and was the Rangers' lone representative in July's All-Star Game.
