Feliz Staying Confident In His Change-Up

Neftali Feliz isn't worried about his change-up

The project, if you want to call it that, of using Neftali Feliz as a starter has been going well--but on Sunday, Feliz’s change-up was knocked around a bit, particularly by Minnesota’s Clete Thomas, who took Feliz’s offering in the fifth into the seats for a two-run bomb.

But Feliz isn’t worried about the faring of that particular pitch on Sunday.

"I've got to keep low. That change-up got away from me and he got hold of it," Feliz said in reference to the home run. "I'm going to keep throwing it; I just have to get it done in the strike zone. It's a good pitch for me."

For the year, Feliz has thrown 12 innings, struck out seven and walked four.
