Fans Not Letting Delay Wash Out Their Excitement

Game 6 of the World Series may have been postponed because of rain in St. Louis, but fans aren't letting it dampen their Red Fever.

“I’m bummed,” said Danny Bean, of Fort Worth. “Naturally, I wanted to see the game, but it gives them one more day of rest before tomorrow to go win it."

People aren't letting the washout wash away their excitement.

“We don't want any variables to make it not a good game because we’re ready to end it in one more game,” said Carla Maxwell, of Arlington.

At Dallas' Love Field, flights to St. Louis were full, even though baseball fans will have to wait until Thursday to get their fix.

“Actually, I was relieved,” traveler David Albert said. “I don't want them playing on a field that's wet and sloppy -- that's going to deter their play, and I'd rather have them have an extra day of prep."

At the Texas Rangers store in Uptown Dallas, the pickings are getting slim when comes to Rangers jerseys.

There are still some Kinsler, Hamilton and Young jerseys, but if you're looking for Cruz or Napoli, good luck.

“You can not find Napoli anywhere," said Jonathon Harris, of Dallas. "I don't know why, but it's a hard one to get."
