Changes to Globe Life Park on the Way? MLB Suggests Extended Netting for Increased Fan Safety

Major League Baseball wants to increase fan safety at games next year, meaning an potential increase in netting is coming to Globe Life Park.

A release Wednesday from the Office of the Commissioner recommends several safety improvements, including the option of extending protective netting from homeplate toward the beginning of team dugouts to protect fans from line-drive foul balls.
