Asian “TV's” Take on Darvish Signing

The Texas Stereotypes are Endless!

Our good friends at NMA TV out of Taiwan, who make animations about current events and license them out to television stations across Asia, have turned in a gem about the Texas Rangers' signing of Japanese pitching phenom Yu Darvish.

If you're ready for a good laugh, and just some good ol' amazement, drop what you're doing, and watch this video now.

Darvish is greeted by a handshake from an Old West lawman (Texas Ranger, duh) with a badge on that says "Walker" (Chuck Norris, duh). He's then graced with a Rangers uniform that says "Texxas" on the front of it.

Then we learn that Darvish's addition to the team will likely lead to Alexi Ogando's return from the starting rotation to the bullpen, where he'll be joined by actual bulls in an actual pen.

We're also told that Yu's biggest rival is Albert Pujols of the L.A. Angels, which might be true, but what we didn't know was that they both shoot lightning out of their eyes, and it looks like Pujols gets quite a few hits off Darvish. Let's hope that part doesn't come true.
