Adrian Beltre Shrugs Off Gagne's PED Claims

Eric Gagne claims in a new book that around 80 percent of his teammates with the Dodgers used PEDs

When alerted to them, Adrian Beltre more or less shrugged off the claims made by his former teammate Eric Gagne in a new French-language book, in which Gagne estimates that around 80 percent of the players on the Dodgers teams he played for used performance enhancing drugs.

Beltre was a teammate of Gagne’s with the Dodgers from 1999-2004.

He should have named names,” Beltre said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I don’t know what you want me to tell you … For him to say something like that, he should have come out with names instead of a percentage.”

Unsurprisingly, given his reaction, Beltre said he has no plans to read Gagne’s book.

“My French isn’t too good,” he said.
