“Sex and the City” Creator Lists Posh Apartment

Long before Carrie Bradshaw's Manolo Blahniks ruled the streets of Manhattan, there was Candace Bushnell the creator of "Sex and the City." While Carrie lived on the Upper Eat Side, Bushnell most recently lived in Greenwich Village in a co-op, which just hit the market for $2.8 million, reports Curbed.

The writer's chic digs (they are so chic the home was even featured in the interior design book, "So Chic") features one bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, a dramatic sunken living room with a wood-burning fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large formal dining room. Bushnell's crib further impresses with a redone kitchen with marble and stone and a high floor location with sweet views. The Village co-op unit was featured in the September 2005 issue of "Elle Decor," which showed off the splashy pad post-makeover by Bushnell and designer Susan Forristal.

The Greenwich Village pre-war building has further ties to "Sex and the City" beyond Bushnell. Mr. Big aka the actor Chris Noth owns an apartment in the same historic building.
