Henry Melton Impressed by Zack Martin

Martin was selected by Dallas with the 16th overall pick in this year's draft

Veteran defensive tackle Henry Melton has made a point to line up against rookie guard Zack Martin in practice, saying the Notre Dame product provides a nice challenge. Martin, who was picked up with the No. 16 overall selection in May’s NFL Draft, has already done enough to impress the former Pro Bowler Melton.

"He's good," Melton said, per ESPN Dallas. "I purposely line myself up with him. He's coming on strong. If I'm working with him, he's making me better and I'm making him better. There's no one else better to work with."

Of course, being the veteran, Melton has seen his share of success against the rookie. ESPNDallas.com’s Tim MacMahon has an account of one such case, in which Melton beat Martin in a one-on-one pass-rush drill with relative ease over the weekend.

"I just had to let him know that I'm here and it's going to be a long training camp," Melton said.
