Witten Praises Ware as Teammate

As far as lifelong Cowboys having a lifelong pass with Cowboys fans, no one has a bigger one than tight end Jason Witten. He's the ultimate Cowboy.

It's pretty obvious who Witten will be pulling for on Sunday in Super Bowl 50 when the Panthers take on the Broncos, and it's his old teammate DeMarcus Ware, who was cast out of Dallas a cap casualty before signing with the Broncos two years ago.

"DeMarcus is one of my all-time favorite teammates,'' Witten told the Dallas Morning News. "He is the ultimate team guy. He is a phenomenal player, leader and teammate.

"I am excited he finally gets to play in the big one. I will be pulling hard for him on Sunday.''

Witten, of course, saw his career-long streak of not having played in a Super Bowl extended this year, and according to the Dallas Morning News, Ware has been asked who he wishes could be with him preparing for a first Super Bowl appearance, it'd be Witten.
