Williams Becoming One of Romo's Favorite Targets

Terrance Williams has three touchdown catches in the past two weeks

Terrance Williams is fast becoming one of Tony Romo’s favorite targets.

To wit, Williams has eight catches on 13 targets and three touchdowns in the past two weeks. With five touchdowns on the season, he’s already equaled his rookie total.

Terrance really has become a good receiver for us,” Romo told the team’s website. “He’s starting to come into his own. I’ve always had confidence in his ability. I think you’re seeing him understand things even better and he’s gotten better every day.”

Of course, Williams was on the receiving end of arguably the best play of the afternoon, when Romo shucked a sack attempt from Texans’ defensive end JJ Watt and found Williams in the end zone.

“When Tony throws the ball and it’s just hanging in the air, you just can’t panic,” Williams said. “When he broke the tackle, I just had to find him a throw and I was able to come down with it.  I saw him rolling around and I just broke (the route) off.”
