Will McClay to Take Over Draft Day Duties

Director of player personnel Tom Ciskowski has had that job for six years

In May, for the first time in six years, Cowboys director of scouting Tom Ciskowski will not be running the war room on Draft Day, ESPN Dallas reports.

Dallas has decided that assistant director of player personnel Will McClay will put together the Cowboys’ “Big Board” for the 2014 draft, ending Ciskowski’s run. Ciskowski, who interviewed for a general manager job in Indianapolis last year, remains an integral part of the front office.

McClay served as the head coach of the now defunct (as they all are) Arena Football League team, the Dallas Desperados. He worked in the front office of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011 before coming back to Dallas, this time with the very much alive Cowboys.
