Why Tony Romo Chose to Make His Arts-And-Craftsy DirecTV Persona a Little Creepier

It turns out that Arts-and-Craftsy Tony Romo was even creepier than the folks at DirecTV wanted. The Cowboys quarterback recently explained how he added his own personal touch on the alter ego character he plays in the NFL Sunday Ticket commercial.

"It was great," Romo said during the Around the NFL podcast. "It was definitely a unique experience. I hadn't sat in a makeup chair for four hours before. It was a little different."
