Brandon Weeden quarterbacked the Houston Texans into first place in the AFC South on Sunday in what was one of his finer performances as an NFL quarterback.

In the aftermath, he's managed to throw some jabs at the Dallas Cowboys, who gave up on him in favor of Matt Cassel, and most notably their owner/general manager Jerry Jones.

Jones made public comments following Weeden's release in regards to the fact he failed the team by not having been better prepared at the backup quarterback position, even suggesting if they'd had Cassel in before the year started instead of trading for him after Romo's initial injury they'd be much better off.

Weeden disagreed, and after the way he played on Sunday in what was a huge game for the Texans, it's hard to argue with him.

On Monday, Weeden went on Oklahoma's 107.7 The Franchise and was asked this about his former team:

"Will it be extra satisfying because of what Jerry [Jones] said to see the Cowboys completely just turn into a dumpster fire if you're in the playoffs?"

His response spoke volumes about his feelings toward Jones:

"I mean yeah, absolutely. That'd be sweet. We get to play extra football and he'll be watching on his couch."

Ouch. I mean, it'd be an absolutely luxurious couch, make no mistake, but you get the picture. That has to burn Jerry just a little bit.
