We Like Sports and We Don't Care Who Knows

Looking for a perfect sports Tuesday?

How about trying this on for size? The Cowboys will have an open practice this evening at The Death Star for all fans who want to find a cheap way to get into the Jones Mahal.

For just 10 of your hard-earned dollars, you can park your car beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and tailgate to your heart’s desire before heading into the stadium to watch the free Cowboys practice at 5:30. Gates open at 4:30 when fans can meet and get autographs from several Cowboys alumni and Cowboys cheerleaders.

It’s a good opportunity to see the stadium that usually charges $80 to park and twice that for a decent ticket to a game, and it really is a visual spectacle to be seen.

And what makes this Super Sports Tuesday? Well, after practice, folks can walk across the way to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington to watch the Rangers take on the Evil Empire, aka the New York Yankees, as one of the best home teams in the majors tries to rebound from a poor road trip.

Just think, you can get all your cheers out at the Cowboys practice and come with your boos toward A-Rod, although apparently Mark Teixeira won’t be making the trip to Arlington because he’s having a baby or something.

Just get out there early, folks, because parking could be a hassle. Thanks a lot, sports.
